Are you heading to SHRM 2012 in Atlanta? We are and we’re looking forward to seeing you! The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource development and management. Glassdoor, the leading social jobs and career community, is excited to bring our team to the annual conference, which is expected to attract more than 13,000 HR professionals, recruiters and other employment professionals from around the world.

The four-day conference kicks off on Sunday, June 24. Below are just a few of the places you’ll find us:

  • Glassdoor Booth #642: Visit our farmers’ market-themed booth to enjoy a fresh Georgia peach, while getting the freshest perspective on socially-infused employer branding & recruitment tools.
  • The Official SHRM & Glassdoor Tweetup & AfterParty (8:00 p.m., Monday, 6/25): Glassdoor is the exclusive sponsor of the most anticipated party of #SHRM12. Come by Der Biergarten  for the chance to mingle and Tweet with other industry pros, while sipping on fabulous southern beverages and listening to Atlanta’s hottest DJ! Space is limited, so register soon! It’s guaranteed to be a great time.
  • Panel Discussion on ‘Is Social Recruiting Really Working?’ (11:30 a.m., Wednesday, 6/27): Enjoy what will no doubt be a lively debate on what’s really working, and what’s not, when it comes to social recruiting. Glassdoor CEO and co-founder Robert Hohman, Oracle’s Director of Talent Management Steve Boese, HRExaminer CEO John Sumser, and Expedia’s Program Manager for Global Brand and Talent Attraction Jeremy Langhans, offer insights on  the realities and myths surrounding social media and the recruitment of your next employee.

Unable to make SHRM this year? No worries. We’ll be posting updates, photos and videos from the conference so like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for all the latest news from Atlanta.
