Glassdoor has been selected as one of the Most Democratic Workplaces™ in 2011, a global certification given by WorldBlu, a company specializing in organizational democracy.

Cast A Vote: Glassdoor Nominated For Webby Award – Employment Category

First we’d like to thank the Academy for nominating Glassdoor as one of the top five employment websites. We’d also like to thank our parents and our dog Fluffy….

In all seriousness, we’re through the roof excited about this nomination for one of the Internet industry’s two most sought-after awards: The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award. We also are honored in the guides/ratings/reviews category – although we’re no longer in the running for an official Webby Award, it does mean that of the nearly 10,000 entries received from all 50 states and over 60 countries, Glassdoor was given the distinction of being awarded as the top 15% of all sites entered in this category – a pretty cool achievement.

The Webby’s are the leading International award honoring excellence in interactive design, creativity, usability and functionality on the Internet. And, the Webby People’s Voice Awards is one of the few major awards that invite the public to participate by allowing them to vote for their favorite nominees.

Two Weeks Left Until Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work Awards Deadline!!

Is your company a best place to work? If so, there’s no time to wait – you have just two weeks left to meet the eligibility guidelines for the awards. Keep in mind that, unlike other workplace awards, this one is based off the company reviews submitted to Glassdoor by employees. Details on how to submit your company for the Second Annual Glassdoor.com Employees Choice awards are included below:

Eligibility Requirements:

At least 25 Glassdoor-approved company reviews from United States-based employees between January 1, 2009 and December 1, 2009
An overall rating of “satisfied”, and each cumulative workplace factor category must also be at least “satisfied”
A current CEO with an approval rating of at least 50 percent
