Analytics Specialist – Kiplinger Washington Editors
Kiplinger.com is looking for a smart, focused person with a passion for data mining and analysis to steer a new course for our company in the area of audience development and customer fulfillment.
This would be an online business development position, including a strong collaboration with the Web Development and marketing teams. Ideal candidate would be proficient with Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, and other digital audience-tracking analytical software, and also be an Excel/Powerpoint power user who can turn large amounts of data into easily digestible reports.
--identify important trends that the company can leverage for extra revenue.
--Develop detailed chart site paths in Adobe Omniture, gleaning how our most frequent visitors navigate and use our site versus those who visit once or twice a year.
--Discern differences and similarities in how different audience segments use
Kiplinger.com and other digital products.
--identify customer needs for creation of new products and services.
DESIRED SKILL SETS:
Proficiency using Adobe Omniture and Google, including:
- Building custom reports
- Identifying data that could be collected by page code and then integrated into useful custom reports
- Ability to manipulate available data to identify trends and patterns that will assist in making businesss decisions.
