RainKing, a white-hot information and analytics company that caters to sales and marketing professionals in the IT industry, is currently seeking an experienced Business Development/Lead Generation Representative to qualify and develop net new opportunities for the Field Sales team.

Responsibilities and Skills


  • Cold Call Business Development
  • Database Maintenance: maintain notes, contacts, activities, etc., for companies, contacts and candidates
  • Build relationships with prospects
  • This position requires strict compliance with company processes in performing the administrative aspects of the job. The successful candidate will be a "people person" who is technology savvy with strong MS Office skills. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects is critical to this role.
  • Must be energetic, articulate, creative and willing to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to close business and satisfy our clients
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently to deliver top notch consultants to qualified clients
  • Must possess a strong sense of customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a high attention to detail and possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills


Experience


  • This is an entry-level position with experience a plus
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently to identify and qualify potential clients
  • Prefers applicant to be familiar with SalesForce.com, but not a requirement
  • Must be a team player who possesses a strong sense of customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a high attention to detail and possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills


Education


  • Bachelor’s degree required
