Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES • Covers geographical area secure business for our product line. Customer/account development. • Sells entire product line to physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, lab directors, physician office staff, practice managers, lab managers lab personnel, hospital directors. • Develops sales presentation and message. • Implements key selling messages. • Builds awareness by educating physicians and other health care providers on the science of lipoproteins, lipoanalysis, and NMR. Presents science based discussions for small and large groups of physicians and health care professionals. Sets up and conducts physician speaker programs to educate physicians on the NMR technology. • Develops speaking advocates to conduct speaker programs and roundtables with other potential customers to educate them on the science of lipoproteins and increase sales of product line. • Develops and implements plan of action for assigned territory to best serve customer needs and increase sales for product line. • Educates physician office personnel on the proper way to complete requisition forms and helps establish systems for the office that best meet their needs. • Trains lab and office personnel on the requirements necessary to draw, prepare and ship blood samples for analysis. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5 years of consistent high performance in a direct sales role • Proven record of over-achieving sales goals • Experience in working successfully with industry partners to develop and grow business • Unparalleled Commitment and Dedication to succeed • Strong Team attitude • Understanding of managed care, integrated health systems, and labs • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals • Ability to read and comprehend scientific studies, manuals etc. • Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills • Ability to establish a positive rapport with outside vendors, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, lab directors, physician office staff, practice managers, lab managers lab personnel, hospital directors. • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle • Valid drivers license and a good driving record • Ability to project a professional image • Ability to travel and to travel overnight
