Job Description

The Executive Assistant will assist the managing partner with all aspects of her practice, which includes:

  • Scheduling/Delegating Work

  • Assisting with all aspects of managing the practice

  • Training and supervising lower level administrative staff

  • Assisting with litigation process and related documents

  • Drafting estate planning documents

  • Drafting probate court documents

  • Emails and other correspondence

  • Assisting at meetings

  • Assisting with estate planning process and related documents

  • Organizing office

  • Firm billing

  • Firm marketing

  • Social media, including blog posts

  • QuickBooks/bookkeeping

  • Filing

  • Back up receptionist duties

  • Other tasks, as requested

Experience/Qualifications:

  • BA in Business preferred.

  • 5+ year experience in personal assistant role, preferably in a law firm.

  • Experience working with marketing and social media.

  • Experience working with Timeslips.

  • Experience working with QuickBooks.

  • High level of personal integrity, reliability, and responsibility consistent with an excellent work ethic.

  • High level of motivation for achievement of professional goals.

  • Evidence of ability to prioritize and pursue goals and objectives independently.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills including record-keeping and reporting.

  • Energetic, positive, and engaging personality.
