Gilbane, the nations sixth-largest construction manager, has an opening for a MEP Superintendent within the Corning, New York area.

Profile: MEP Superintendent is responsible for construction and superintendent duties.

Experience: 10+ years experience as a Superintendent specializing in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection. Must have previous experience on large complex projects.

Responsibilities: Jobsite responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare MEP bid packages and award contracts; contract administration of field work orders, proposals and engineering estimates; review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and troubleshoot issues; manage project schedule, budget and design coordination; develop and monitor the MEP portion of the cost control system including cash flow & changes; assure that all labor, material and equipment necessary for the MEP trades has been purchased and is in accordance with the contract documents; conduct quality inspections on MEP trades.

Education Requirements: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
