We are looking for a Senior Software Design Engineer in Test to lead the testing of products that monetize data for advertisers, publishers, and agencies. This is a great opportunity to help create the Test strategy and implement high quality test plans. The ideal candidate has a passion for quality and a knack for identifying tests that break code. You also have a solid understanding of database fundamentals and SQL programming. The right candidate is a motivated self-starter with a capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail while collaborting effectively with interdisicplinary teams and management across geographic locations.
Responsibilities:
Create and improve test frameworks to satisfy automation and reporting Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process Develop automated tests for features that manage, distribute, and monitor computation across large clusters Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment Communicate effectively with a team across multiple geographies Work cross-functionally with other teams to develop world class test and automation plans for a large proprietary database
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a highly technical Quality Engineering environment Experience creating test plans Object-Oriented Language expertise desired (e.g. C++, Java) Familiarity with a scripting language, preferably Perl/Shell Experience on Linux Experience in automated frameworks such as JUNIT Motivated self-starter, with capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail Understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming BSCS or equivalent Bonus Points:
