Cenzic is looking for several security research engineers ranging from lead, senior, and jr level team-players to join our security research engineering team in our Campbell, California office. These positions needs to be filled by people who possesses knowledge of software development principals and tools and is extremely interested in security and hacking, and can quickly learn the technologies used at Cenzic. The ability to continuously learn as technology evolves is important for success in this position.

The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Vulnerability discovery and vulnerability research on embedded system

Exploit & Shellcode developement

Research & Develop generic detection of application security threats

Creating new Application Security Vulnerabilities

Hacking Applications

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

Basic knowledge of Security (what SSL is, cookies)

Knowledge of HTTP protocol web 2.0 technologies

Basic knowledge of vulnerability discovery, Fuzzer.

Have heard or used nmap or other threat tools

Network protocol knowledge

Knowledge of C and C++, and at least one scripting knowledge like Javascript

Strong communication skills and team-work skills

Past vulnerability discovery experience

The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:BS/MS in Computer Science, other technical degree, or equivalent applicable experience.

Sound software design and programming skills.

Knowledge of internet technologies, WWW and networking (protocols).

Knowlege of browser technologies and internals.

Knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies for the browser (HTML, XML, CSS).

Experience working with C# .NET and C++, ASP.net IIS and other Microsoft Technologies

Able to quickly prototype ideas
