Job Description

The Bank Operations Representative position is responsible for providing support to the operations of UFSB. This individual reports to the Bank Operations Vice President, and is accountable for timely and accurate processing of account and transactional work of the essential functions (noted below) in a manner that is efficient, of high quality, and that is in full compliance with bank regulations. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

 Responsible for the daily return exceptions process including stop payments, NSF, ACH rejects etc. Generates NSF notices and distributes to customer base

 Performs wire and ACH transactions as needed

 Acts as liaison to Fiserv to research issues, questions or reporting abilities within core system

 Acts as liaison to various vendors for facilities management, office supplies management, IT, etc.

 Provides administrative backup functionality to various bank systems for internal users

 Provides support to BIB process and users of system

 Provides support to operational implementation of new products

 Performs quarterly testing as assigned, i.e. alarm, sox, ISP, dye packs, etc.

 Performs monthly cash auditing functions as assigned

 Monitors core processor updates/enhancements and tracks; also aids in performing parameter changes to products and core system

 Monitors Reg DD activity for customer base

 Monitors supervisor override functions within core system to validate integrity of transactions

 Creates metrics reports within IVUE to aid with sales tracking, research, and employee reporting

 Aids in developing and continuously improving written policies and procedures governing bank operations

 Follows all procedures and policies, including Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Customer Identification Program.

 Support incoming calls from customer base /responsible for knowing all financial products offered and rates in effect, so they can explain them to customers

 Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Bank Operations

    Qualifications:

 A minimum of 5 years of banking operations experience

 Strong verbal and written communication skills

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Highly accurate and detail-oriented

 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

 High School diploma or equivalent work experience
