About the Role:

Do you LOVE SOCIAL??? This is a fantastic opportunities available for an enthusiastic, creative and hardworking sales leader as we are currently looking for the best Enterprise Social Sales Manager to join our enterprise sales team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President - Enterprise Social Software Business Unit, SAP, you will be responsible for managing a team of Senior Enterprise Product Sales Managers globally who sell JAM, our social collaboration software.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  •  Hiring, retaining and managing a global team of Product Sales Managers


  •  Driving the team to:


  • o Find, qualify and manage the sales cycle, and close prospect opportunities

    o Articulate a customized value prop to many different audiences including: HR, CRM, Supply Chain and C-Level Execs

    o Engage C-level executives in EVERY account, no exceptions

    o Sell value and ROI and manage messaging across all LOBs and C-level execs. Demo the product. Drive complex sales cycles.

    o Manage multiple deals concurrently.

    o Qualify and forecast deals accurately.

    o Exceed goals, make money.


  •  Driving sales activities to meet and exceed sales call, lead conversion and revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.


  •  Understand and analyze customer needs and develop business propositions to differentiate and sell the SuccessFactors/SAPs value proposition / ROI and messaging across all LOBs and C-level execs.


  •  Engagement of external and internal resources (including sales account executives, tele-sales, partners and alliances) to drive business growth and specific sales execution based on the opportunities identified.


  •  Leading a team-centric approach to sales qualification and revenue closure, working closely with sales account executives, sales consultant (presales) and consulting personnel in a complex, enterprise sales environment.


  •  Implement programs across the team to show SuccessFactors/SAP thought leadership and drive specific pipeline generating events and activities.


  •  Accurate forecast management, providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a weekly basis.


  •  Productively communicate current and future product features and sales enable SAP and SuccessFactors account executives on the Enterprise Social solution set.


  •  Collate and priorities customer product feedback, wish lists and innovation ideas back into product development along with supporting the necessary business case validations.


  • Required Skills and Experience:

    · Seasoned Software Sales Management Professional 10+ years of successful enterprise software sales and sales management experience.

    · Social Collaboration experience a huge plus

    · Passion for social media and collaboration software

    · New market sales experience success evangelizing a new product in a new market

    · Experience managing/selling software apps, SaaS, BI, CRM or similar.

    · Past experience using a CRM and forecasting tool

    · Stability A history of intelligent career decisions that resulted in wildly successful tenures.
