Depending on the position, responsibilities could include: front desk reception duties; respond to general inquiries; drafting routine correspondence; research and assemble materials for reports and presentations; order supplies; schedule and coordinate meetings using electronic calendars; coordinate travel arrangements; coordinate meetings, special events, and conferences; use of various software such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, FileMaker, Access, Oracle and Outlook.
Formal training beyond high school of 6 months-1 year with 2-4 years experience in an office environment or equivalent combination.
Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, communicating with tact and diplomacy to a wide range of internal and external constituents. A self-directed individual who meets deadlines and anticipates needs. Ability to set priorities and manage frequent interruptions. Proven interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
