IGN is looking for a talented Video Editor with a love of video games and entertainment. This position requires direct experience managing the post production process. Experience working on original series content for TV or Online Media preferred.

What does that mean exactly for responsibilities?

Conduct post process editing and motion graphic animation on video output from IGN

Utilize advanced techniques including custom effects, titling, keying, audio filters, etc.

Oversee aspects of editing, encoding, and publishing

Work closely with IGN Editorial to concept, produce, and publish new and exciting features

What will get you in the door?

2-3 years of Post-Production experience Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, or other experience

Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team environment

A positive, problem-solving attitude

Passion for IGN and/or videogames

It would be extra awesome if you had…

Significant experience with non-linear editing,

Strong understanding of emerging web-video technologies.

Experience using Avid and Avid Unity

Experience managing video asset archives and servers

Understanding of Internet trends, SEO principles, etc.

Have done post production at a TV or game-centric company
