Registered Representative 

At Motif Investing, we provide world class Customer Service. The job of the Registered Representative (RR) is a specialized financial services position engaged in receiving, evaluating, investigating, resolving, and documenting of customer inquires. In doing so, RR’s are the first point of customer contact and therefore RR’s set the stage for the customer experience. As the key member of the customer experience the RR will handle inquiries received through many channels including phone, email, chat, and social media. The RR, as well as all others in Customer Service, is responsible for advocating on behalf of the customer across all departments and creating the energy and compelling story to drive business changes

Duties and Responsibilities

Motif Investing, Inc. is a startup and participating in startups requires significant departmental cross training, general agility, and a “do whatever it takes” mindset. The RR will be expected to process inquiries and handle all customer interactions.

  • Commit to flawless execution of Motif’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Become a Motif brand advocate. View each inquiry as an opportunity to personalize the brand
  • Assist customers with their varying needs and resolve with professionalism and empathy
  • Indentify situations involving financial risk and escalate accordingly 
  • Exceed productivity and quality guidelines as established for the department
  • Resolve, document, and report complaints in accordance with FINRA regulatory requirements
  • Embrace conversations that lead to conversion of potential customers to paying customers
  • Focus effort on first call resolution, quality monitoring score, and overall quality interaction
  • Capture and present ideas to improve general customer interaction
  • Participate in cross functional problem solving improvement efforts - improve processes that improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Represent Motif Investing in all communications to the public in a manner consistent with company guidelines

Education and Qualifications
  • Series 7, 63
  • Experience solving complex trading issues in accordance with Compliance and FINRA guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years prior extensive customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office - specifically Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio
