We sell Apple, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Dell, VMWare, NetApp, Adobe, QLogic, EMC, Fujitsu, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, and all the hottest Data Center, Virtualization, Energy Conservation, Cloud, Storage, Security, Wireless, Video and Identification technologies! We also specialize in mission critical product procurement and integration services for some of the largest Corporate, Government, and Educational clients in America! Our client base is a who's who of corporate America!


We offer a highly lucrative earnings package starting at $110K (first year at plan), with top salespeople earning well into the six figures. Our highly motivated and talented salespeople provide the very highest level of service to our customers! Our exemplary compensation plan is based on a Commission rate of 75% of the profit generated for the first 90 days of new business, followed by a Commission rate of 40% to 59% of the profit generated on all subsequent business, PLUS a Client Incentive Draw/Advance averaging from $3,000 to $6,000 per month or more! We also have Health and Dental Insurance, a 401(k) plan, and a Company Stock plan.


GHA has become an Employee Owned Company! We have introduced an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) that will be awarded to all GHA Employees with more than 1 year of Tenure!


Requirements

  • Two to three years of Computer, Wireless, Telephony, Security, Data Center, Virtualization, Energy Conservation, Video, Copier/Imaging or Technology sales experience required.
  • Must have been in Sales in most recent position.
  • Recent College Graduates will be given special consideration, and training if selected.
  • Must have a clean Driving Record and adequate Liability Coverage, since Outside Sales is involved.
  • Special consideration and Bonus Incentives available for Sales Professionals with the following Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCDA, VMWare, IBM, Symantec, and HP. Sorry, no Technical positions are available.

    Pros

    Networking with Manufacturers, top-tier vendors, and end-users. The training that the manufacturers and vendors provide (not GHA Management) was very useful and ability to increase my knowledge.

    Cons

    The owner, Management, and the Regional VPs are horrible to work for. It is a very demeaning environment. Be prepared to be subjected to ridicule via email, conference calls and direct phone calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look in the mirror - What you see, is who you are. Your annual revenue is based on co-op advertising and MDF $$$.

    Pros

    Excellent work/life balance. No overtime is required, so weekends and Holidays are our own. Everyone is treated as the adult that they are, and are empowered to make a majority of the decisions. Sure, there are Policies and Procedures in place, but they are not set in concrete. If someone wants to make some sort of an exception, all they need to do is ask. Everyone has total control over their market - who, what, when, where and how they sell - they just need to be able to sell. There are no minimums, no constantly increasing Quota's, no caps on commissions, not Territories, and no other restrictions in place. If you can sell, you have total control. If you CAN'T sell, then this may not be the place for you. Everyone is treated as the adult that they are, there is no patience for entry-level people, and everyone has total P&L responsibility and control over thier market. Everyone here is here to help everyone else, so if you run into a problem or have a question, all you have to do is just ask - and people step up to help. The only restrictions you have here are the restrictions you place on yourself.

    If you fail, here, it's because you allowed yourself to fail. If you have the ability to sell, and have that confidence in your ability to sell, you can be very, very successful. The top guys here are all earning in excess of $200K, and those that are only earning $50K do so because they don't put out the same effort to get there. It's THEIR choice.

    Cons

    Being Traeted like the Adult that you are. It's a double-edged sword. Sure, you can reap the benefits, but you also have to be willing to suffer the consequences of poor perforamnce or your inactions, as well. If you work hard, you do very well here. If you're lazy (like the other poster), you will likley fail. It's your choice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep it up - you've already peaked the comp plan to the point that nobody else can compare with, and for those that work hard, they get paid exceptionally well!
