I would say that the benefits are inline with most tech startups. You can certainly get cheaper family plans with enterprise level companies, but you pay for that in other ways. They also have additional perks to help offset some of that cost (Zestful, FSA/HSA, etc). Time off is unlimited as long as you communicate in advance. It's even encouraged to take time off. Remote work opportunities depending on role, etc.
Great benefits! They also make sure to ensure you completely understand what you are electing (emails, conference calls to discuss open enrollment). Health & Fitness stipend as well as an education stipend! They put a ton into giving you ways to increase your growth, from a comped coaching call and birthday stipend to use on an educational experience. I have never had a company care so much about my development. Very flexible time off so I am not worried about whether I should take the day off to be sick or worry I won't be able to see my parents this year.
Great benefits plan! Not as fancy as some other massive tech companies but they invest a huge amount into making sure you are taken care of :) Team lunch in SF every Friday, lots of snacks, drinks, coffee (like 4 different machines), monthly gym reimbursement, birthday professional development stipend, annual company retreat, annual team retreat. Really cool office and very flexible work from home/remote work possibilities. Dog friendly (one dog per day) office and close to public transportation. Lots of company happy-hours and events as well as professional meet-ups, speaking events, and panels which you can attend. Oh! Also a budget to attend a conference at least once a year for professional development!
