Miles and Miscellaneous
Our employees live all over the Bay Area, so we offer a free CalTrain GoPass to everyone. Whether you take the train for your daily commute, or during your own free time, a GoPass will help you get around.
And on any given day, you may also see a few friendly dogs hanging around the office.
Great 401k, daily lunches, free fitness classes, bougey single origin chocolate tasting!
Well rounded package of benefits for a startup.
Great discount items you can buy and great benefits package overall - but 401k matching could definitely be better, considering the amount the company probably makes.
Good snack, good lunch. The other things are pretty standard.
Great company, great people, great product.
Outstanding benefits for ALL employees that truly reflect our core values and place a huge priority on employee wellbeing. Onsite gym with personal trainers, healthy meals and snacks, cool outdoor penthouse, commuter benefits including free CalTrain Go Pass, and of course free and discounted 23andMe kits! Family benefits are tops - including 16 weeks paid parental leave (for both Moms and Dads), family planning benefit that covers fertility, adoption assistance, and surrogacy. Benefits keep getting better every year!
23andMe has a great benefits package including lunch (sometimes breakfast and dinner), swag, off-site team outings, snacks, Caltrain passes, yoga, pilates, group workouts, maternity leave, paternity leave, a mother's room, employee discount on kits, and electric car charging stations.
Good health insurance coverage, new fertility & adoption assistance benefits, modest 401k matching. (The 401k matching could be better.) Nice-to-have things like an onsite gym with fitness classes, daily lunch, snacks & drinks, regular team off-sites, etc.
The benefits package is quite good. The salary is great, the health benefits are good and relatively affordable. My only complaint is that the match for the 401K is relatively low.
