VACATION, sick time, vision, dental
Nothing good about the benefits. The medical plan cost more than anyone on the first level can afford. Since 80% of employees do not last past 90 days, there is no incentive for the company to spend money on employees
Benefits are too expensive to purchase
They don't offer any paid holidays
It was pretty so-so. Definitely not the best.
No 401k no Paid time off
IT was expensive. If you have a family to take care of, you basically work just to pay the fees for medical, dental, eye. You also have to wait 90 days after hire for it to go into effect. It took 2 months after i enrolled for my company to submit paperwork to get the Medical cards. the best thing was the EYEMED- there was an allowance for $135 training is a joke and lasts 1 week in class, then 1 week on the floor. You have to sit there with your hand raised forEVER until someone finally gets up off their butt and actually come and answer your question or help you with the call. you only get vacation and PTO if you have been there for 1 year.... and WITHIN THE SAME DEPARTMENT. so if you decide to that you do not like the current department you are in, they encourage you to move to another department.. however they do not tell you that you have to START ALL OVER AGAIN with benefit of having PTO and Vacation. No one EVER gets it.
The only benefit is health insurance which is effective after 90 days, but the time off is after a year and a pay for you to see it and use it.
The best thing is that it’s available- worst is no 401k, benefits are expensive and you only ever get 2 weeks pto regardless of tenure
You're paying around $200 a month for a single person's insurance, there's no option for PPO and co-pays are high.
