Health insurance is through BCBS
2nd & Charles offers excellent employee discounts, which compliment the low prices of the products available. They also allow employees to check out products, so they are more knowledgeable about what they sell and can better help customers.
Health insurance is still kinda pricey. If you have to get tests done, you still have to pay like $40 for them, that is after they send you a bill that would take 1/2 your paycheck to pay for...they also give you a hard time anytime you try to take your well-earned time off. 30% off of used and new items except VG consoles and VGs was probably the best perk aside from associates.
Best benefit is employee discount (30% on used and most new, 10% on new consoles and games).
We don't get any benefits. We barely get paid the bare minimum and we don't even get hours to work.
There ARE no benefits for one year. No time off (sick, bereavement, holiday, vacation) until you've been there a year. And then you only get a percentage of what you worked in the previous year. So if your "full time" hours were only at 30, you'll only get 5 days off on your first year anniversary. That's FIVE DAYS for the entire next year, so dont plan vacation or getting sick or anything else if you need your paycheck.
Best is the 30% off most items. Worst is they won't let you sell your stuff except on weekends and limit
I really loved the discounts on most items in the store. So much to buy!
The insurance was expensive and covered very little. It was the bare minimum they were legally required to provide.
The benefits package is pretty standard. If you're full-time, you get access to health insurance, 401 k, and vacation time/personal time after a year of employment. It is comparable to the benefits I've received at other jobs working full-time. All associates receive a 30% discount on merchandise, which is probably the best perk of the job.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
