Best thing is competitive health insurance, worst is less 401k contribution match than many companies.
Employee Benefits are marketplace competitive
Best: Great Benefits...lots of options and they pay for many of them. Worst: The Bureaucracy
They offer a great benefits package. Great Health Care.
Great benefits! Full medical, 401K, etc.!
Three types of insurance to choose from Employer contribution to HSA
Worst is dealing with BCBS Minn. October 2017 tried to get Prescription insoles due to painful feet. They said, "Not Covered", but wouldn't say why. I traded emails with them for months. They told me where to look in the benefits manual in regard to feet. Bad thing was, it said they were covered. Took 4 months for them to finally approve
Benefits are one the greatest pros in working at 3M
Worst - no flexibility once hired - all based on service credit and non-negotiable (time off, etc). Paid time off - while given, it is more stressful to take time off because of the multiple hats each individual wears. Takes a day-multiple days to catch up. Offered competitive sick time / short-term disability, but the culture is to work from home if sick in lieu of taking time away from work. They offer a "flexible" work environment, but they don't practice what they preach. Benefits should be more catered to each individual's case. Best - competitive 401k match and RIA
3M offers a great benefits package from stock options to 401k. They offer many options to you or your family..
