The 401k package is fantastic (at least in the HIS division). We get 8% matching--it's a 5% match if you contribute 5% and then an additional 3%, regardless of whether or not you contribute. The maternity/paternity leave is at the top of the industry (I think people are getting 6 weeks off), tuition reimbursement leaves a lot to be desired (only $1500 for a company built on ideas?), but the time off and the work flexibility cannot be matched.
Although I don't have any other corporate experience in which to compare against, the benefits package seems to be excellent at 3M.
Health insurance through Health Partners. 5% 401K match. Discounted stock purchase.
Great 401K match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Vacation accrual and benefits start day one
Most are best. Stock options are way lower other players
Overall benefits were good. There is an employee stock purchase plan to purchase stock at a discount. 401k matching is a little less than average.
Have great benefits. Really liked the relocation benefits. They also helped with the housing, which was great because I only had to pay a really small amount for a fully furnished apartment.
Company stock options, 401K match
401K match plus automatic 3% contribution to IRA. Good dental/vision coverage. Medical options. 2 Weeks Vacation plus 5 days personal given at the beginning of the year. Plenty of holidays off including a few surprising ones (Black Friday, Christmas Eve)
NO PENSION! but there is 401k and other savings you could join in.
