Benefit: Work from home. Although they require that you have a secondary electrical source and internet source and back up computer. Yes, this is in the contract so if your power goes out..too bad you were required to have an alternative source. Salary is much lower now and better jobs elsewhere. DadaABC (bad) VipKids (bad)
All contract teachers work from home and set their hours within times of peak demand. But the software really eats up a lot of memory on your computer, and you need to provide a reliable computer, high speed internet, lighting, camera, and headset with your own money.
Unfortunately this is the only benefit that one can list for their company. They offer little else.
Flexible hours, great pay, and work from home!
Working from home and setting your own hours is one of the main benefits. No required dress code (business casual) which is real easy.
I can work in my PJs
I appreciate being able to teach from the comfort of my own home. It is easy to sign on, teach the lessons I am scheduled to teach, and then sign off. No commutes necessary.
