Great company culture with fantastic benefits. If you're willing to work hard you can do very well here.
Not competitive salary, health insurance was good
Best: great health benefit insurance great pensions benefits 401k vacation sick time long term disability insurance short term disability insurance
Good benefits, good profit shares
The worst thing is the cost of insurance vs the coverage. The best thing is good people. The pay is competitive for this area. Top out $24 per hour.
The insurance is comparable to other plans in the area.
Great perks with a little extra from ABB the parent company. Education benefits huge, If I remember correctly was pretty much paid for once the college/course are pre-approved..
The benefits offered by Baldor Electric Company are competitive with similar companies within the immediate area. The 401K match could be improved, but profit sharing seems to even out the lower match rate.
All I can think of is pros. Pay, health insurance (very offordable), for years there was more overtime than you could work, 401k,profit sharing, short-term disability, long-term disability, 4 weeks paid vacation after 15 years, yearly wage increases, time off for personal reasons (if needed) fmla, I'm sure that I'm forgetting a # of other things.
It was adequate insurance
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
