One week of vacation is designated by company which gives new employees virtually no vacation for three years and is taking away a week for all other employees.

3 stars if you are in the plant. They have certain times of the year you have to take off and use the vacation days you are given. In corporate I would rate it as 4 stars. Their are blackout periods for some jobs at certain times of the year.

Starting Jan.1,2015 you must reserve five vacation days for scheduled vacation. This means you must work at the company for three years before you can have a week of vacation of your choosing. Also, 16 hrs. of vacation time is for emergencies and can only be used in two hour increments.

Vacation time and pay were two different things. You could draw your vacation pay that you have built up but then you are stuck with vacation time that you have no funds for.

Vacation system was typical, but I always had bosses which were flexible, which was very helpful.
