Standard benefits available after 90 days. 4 week vacation maximum. Typical paid holidays and sick time. Could use sick time in hour increments and vacation in half days.
The worst thing was the fact that every 48 or 60 hours you worked only went towards an hour of vacation time, so any days you missed or called in sick for emergencies really hurt your chances of being able to be in the clear because there as a strict 3 emergency days only every 6 months that you could take before you got written up.

No health benefits, and people do get time off but it's hard for the people who have to cover for you, especially for the night shift employees.
