401(k): ACR has a qualified 401(k) retirement plan for eligible part-time and full-time employees. ACR employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) plan if they are at least 21 years old and have worked at least 1000 hours in a year.

    Best: working and meeting young staff with big dreams/goals in the medical field. Worst: Poor management. Residential supervisor was lazy and typically performing minimum work

    Company does offer a 401k, but I am not a full-time staff so I did not partake in it. Offers full-time staff POT and does offer approved OT and 1.5x and double time.

    I really wish they offered tuition reimbursement but they do not. Family benefit package is expensive. Single benefit package is not too bad.

    While there is a benefits package, there is a penalty if you want to cover yourself and a spouse and the spouse is offered health insurance at his/her workplace. And it's not a small penalty. The penalty is about the cost of paying for health insurance out-of-pocket. Also, trying to get 100% vested for the 401(k) is near impossible when your core employee pool is students who are not going to stay for six years (nor should they!). Also, in the promotional materials for some of the supervisory positions, there's plenty of talk about being able to work with your child. You would never guess this is the case because of how hugely it is frowned upon/judged, even when called in to work a shift that you 1) were not scheduled for and 2) were not supposed to be on call for.

    Flexible scheduling so it's possible to seldomly use PTO. Great 401k benefits, but 6 year vesting is a long time.

    Best benefit of my position is that I can live on site, rent free. I have a basement apartment. Its a benefit for me as well as a benefit for the residents of the home. I also appreciate ACR's effort to keep the cost of health insurance affordable, as well as their profit sharing plan.
