I have nothing negative to say.
Matching 401K and internet access to any benefit website were both positives in their benefit package.
401k match up to 4%. ESPP at 15% discount. 1 day off to volunteer with pay. Health insurance premiums not great but not the first.
Worst thing - not competitive
You get health, dental, and vision. You also get a 401k. Benefits are good and you have options. No complaints there.
Each year the cost per employee went up significantly, the overall benefits went down and the network of providers kept shrinking. Most took the benefits because it was better than not having any, but compared to before Adesa bought the Mesa location the benefits were significantly worse.
Great package of total benefits
The PTO was decent. 3 weeks after 5 years...4 weeks after 10 years. Plus sick and personal days. Healthcare skyrocketed over the 8 years I was employeed.
Insurance benefits were so bad that I got my own
You either have to pay way to much with terrible coverage or very little and pay EVERYTHING out of pocket. You get charged for spending accounts. No one can get you information for additional benefits. When you need information, the Benefits Department shuffle you around. Very few paid holidays. There are supposed to be KAR Perks but they never work or are more expensive that most retail stores. Vacation and PTO are the only good benefit.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
