Amazing benefits for working moms! ALSAC recognizes the importance of work life integration and the value of investing in paid maternity leave benefits. Knowing that I would be able to spend time with my child after delivery without financial worry and knowing that ALSAC also provides adequate family sick time off for doctors’ appointments and sick days was a huge bonus in an already strong benefits package.
I left the for-profit world about 6 years ago to join ALSAC and I was blown away by the benefit offerings of this organization. The medical insurance is top-notch, and the employee contribution amount is paltry...it means more money in your pocket each and every pay check. Also, the company contributes annually to our retirement account, which is very nice for a non-profit. Onsite gym and plenty of on-campus food options (and food trucks) are nice perks...and the food is really good. Just an overall great place to work.
