PTO is more generous than most
Vacation was very equitably provided based on years of employment.
At the bosses level, never had a vacation approved.
High amount of vacation; rolls over if you don't use all of it
There was a probation period before personal days and vacation time applied
The company preferred to give you the holiday days rather than paying for them. You cannot buy extra days. But if you have a problem and not vacation days they are understanding and will sort out something.
You start off with three weeks of vacation. Then get bumped to four after 5 years. Then five after 15 years. Unless you are senior level or management. Then you get unlimited.
2 weeks starting, 3 weeks after 3 years. You are allowed to roll over up to 1 week per year. Unlimited sick days for salary employees.
3 weeks to start with.
