    No Sick Time You had to use your vacation time if you became ill. The mangers gave you a hard time about taking vacation time.

    You can use your paid time for days that you are sick, but most of the time you request time off it is not approved. There is not enough time available for everyone to get the days they ask for in advance, so they just call out and request the time to be paid.
