Full Time Employees receive 13 days of PTO and 7 paid holidays
health insurance, 401k, vacation, time off
The company has made a concerted effort to improve benefits over the last few years. The 401k and Healthiest You (dial a doc service) have been the strongest. Medical is solid, but costly. There have been a number of discount programs offered (cell phone, ford purchases, etc). And the company makes a significant effort to support employees in areas hit with natural disasters.
The company offers some of the most important insurance coverages however the costs for the premiums are high. The match for the 401K is very minimal. (less than 1% - all in)
Employee pays for portion of benefits after 1 month employment.
The insurance is employee paid, very expensive for such a large company. The do not supply Long and Short term disability, employee must pay extra.Guess they are just trying to save a buck. The only good thing was that the money was not taxed on gross wages
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k with Company Match, 13 days of PTO accrued, Company Vehicle, Company Phone and Tablet.
Best is insurance, 401k after 6 months. Worse I would say is don't match a lot in 401k, could use more than 2 weeks off when working 6 days a week.
The benefits are pretty standard: 401k, health & dental insurance, PTO accrues with each paycheck. The only downside is if you don't use all your PTO at the end of the year, you lose it. There is no PTO rollover (however, there's rumors that, that policy might change).
The best thing about the benefits package is that is just bare bones min, but with the added discount you receive from HVAC products it made it acceptable.
