There is a surcharge for adding a spouse or domestic partner to the plan, if they are working and have access to their own health insurance. This can run over $100 per month.
Good plan overall - premiums are pricier than they were at the university I worked at previously. There's a pretty hefty $100+ penalty if you add a spouse/partner who has the option of insurance elsewhere - which is a pain if they only have poor insurance
Several options, reasonable employee contributions. Only bad thing is RXs only through CVS.

I am fairly healthy and lead an active lifestyle, so I have not had to use my health insurance significantly, but overall health insurance is comprehensive. I have not had to pay an arm and a leg for regular preventive checkups, etc. Overall I think AbbVie's health insurance is at or above average for the industry. No complaints here.
