Acadian ESOP is a solid retirementioned package, you are fully invested after 6 years. The pay is competitive for the area and the benefits are good. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana is the health insurance and the dental is through Delta.
The cost of the premium health-insurance plan is $95 per two-week period, totaling $190 a month, which is EXCELLENT for the contents of the package. (Regular plan is $45). The deductibles are somewhat high, but after deductibles, most services are covered. Acadian also offers a dental and a vision plan, which are both excellent. Acadian only offers 5 paid holidays per year, and you only get paid 1.5x pay if you work that day. Other companies in the area offer 10-15 paid holidays, 1.5x pay for any employee and 2.0x pay if you work. You will not get paid for your first sick day for the first 5 years of employment (i.e. if you have the flu and call out for 3 days, you will only be paid for the second two days).
ESOP is hands down the best benefit to Acadian. Matches up to 4% with your 401k. Health insurance is not great. Offers supplement disability pay through Aflac
Decent package, including Short and Long Term Disability
Insurance was subpar but better than nothing for the price. Can't use your sick leave until your second day off in other words never had the chance to use mine. Pto offered was low but at least they offer it
High unaffordable deductible on low pay. 401 K is good, but again could not afford due to needing every penny just to survive.
Acadian has a pretty good benefits package, to include health, dental and vision, as well as 401k and ESOP. The ESOP program is great. The company matches your 401k contribution up to 4% with company stock of which can keep or cash out upon leaving the company. The stock has a great performance, usually increasing in value every year.
ESOP. Good price for family insurance.
401k, vacation once a year
Insurance is not the best, but is satisfactory.
