Today I was told by my employer that they do not want a chain of command in our company, and they do not want to update job descriptions because they feel like that limits what people feel they can do in their position. This makes me feel like there are no clear lines when it comes to who does what and who is responsible for what. Is this common in a healthcare clinic or is this a major red flag for me?

I have been a medication aide/CNA in Kansas for 7 years. Im ready to start a different career path as I would like to have holidays and weekends off. Currently I work in assisted living and like that setting. What other jobs could I do that aren’t in healthcare but have similar wages.
