Acuity’s Approach to Benefits
Acuity provides comprehensive, generous and easy-to-understand benefits and perks for employees, regardless of seniority, job title or work location. Because our employees work hard every day to rebuild shattered lives, we know just how important it is to be healthy and to feel secure. Our total rewards package reflects our commitment to employee wellbeing, including:
Flex-Time, 401k, Work from Home
Overall, excellent. The 401K is outstanding, as is the HSA contribution made annually by the company. Health insurance definitely outpaces the market with a wide network and good premiums. Dental benefits have improved recently and now there's a orthodontics option. Vacation is competitive, and sick time is very generous. The flex time and work from home options are nice and the culture feels like it's getting more and more flexible. The rest of the offerings are incredible: life insurance, fitness center, new rec center under construction, rock climbing, tons of free gifts, onsite cafeteria, chocolate and more. Parental leave could be improved to keep pace with industry.
Great compensation and benefits. 8 percent without match on 401k but additional 2.5 percent with company growth and success. 10.5 percent given to you is great. They do a great job of educating new hires on how they should handle this as well.
Heath insurance and 401k packages are very good. Flexible hours also help with work/life balance.
Acuity contributes 8% to your 401k regardless if you participate in the plan or not. Coming out of college, I was not even thinking about retirement, by my employer had my future in mind. They also set you up with an HSA account that matches what your health deductible is, and having low medical expenses and the HSA rolling over every year and getting Acuity's contribution, they are also building me a medical savings account for the future. Really can't beat the benefits Acuity offers.
The perks here a great. Above-average insurance package, generous contribution into my 401K, unlimited sick time, community discounts and events. The vacation time isn't the most generous (2 weeks gradually increasing to 3 weeks at 5 years) which is surprising. There are rumors of this varying by job title.
401k and medical benefits are much better than most. They also offer a fair amount of vacation days. Sick days are unlimited and not part of vacation, which I find very nice. Their sick day policies essentially takes away the need to feel bad about calling in sick, if you are sick stay home, simple as that.
Never ending benefits! 401K Health Dental Eye Disability Life On-site gym Subsidized meals Monthly events Work from home days Flextime
Outstanding benefits package overall, especially the 401k (automatic 8% + added annual bonus around 2-3%) and the health/dental. Acuity contributes a huge amount to HSAs every year, which covers the deductible. Company provides life and disability insurance at no cost, PTO is solid, decent flex time policy, and the random extra perks are unbelievable - gift baskets, fitness center, lots of events, tuition reimbursement. Work from home is a recent add for HQ employees. Only gripe would be the parental leave, which is probably about average.
Acuity works hard to ensure they lead the industry in benefits offered. New hires are offered 13 days vacation; 8% non-elective contributions to their 401(k) plans; employer-sponsored vision, dental, and health plans; cafeteria plans with a generous HSA contribution; among many others enviable benefits.
