Good medical, dental and vision benefits; holidays off and option for flex schedule. Awesome wellness opportunities, but the retirement benefit needs to be reevaluated.
Mandatory retirement 10% taken ot of your pay, this should be a 401k not mandatory
Benefits such as health and dental are good. Retirement plan is mandatory 9% which is pretty high for a entry level job and with the way colorado is now.
Adams County focuses on the employee's wellness, all around wellness, and offers programs, incentives, and opportunities (such a an on-site health clinic) that help an employee focus on being well.
I really didn't have the package but to me The best parts was the health insurance, fitness center, life insurance, discounts, and health center. It is not that bad overall if your single or married.
The best things about the benefits package at Adams County is they offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation leave, sick leave, holiday pay, fitness center, health clinic, short and long term disability insurance, etc., etc. The worst thing about the benefits package is the employee's retirement contribution is pretty high.
So far so good. Been with Adams County for a few weeks now.
