AAP recently moved to a discretionary time off policy for corporate employees. it is what is expected. DM's want to try and not let you have it though. You will have to fight for it.
All vacation times are paid off, work hard and party hard as long as your hiring manager is on your side.
It's a ways to keep employees feel like a real team member.
After 30 days you are able to accrue vacation and sick time.
