Office Manager

I recently started a job in a small medical office. The doctor is cheap, rude, demanding, condescending, and has unrealistic expectations. The receptionist is a miserable, ticking , tourettes time bomb. The doctor announced that she wanted to take 8 of us to a restaurant Thursday night. I'd rather whistle through 4 unanesthetized route canals! I have no desire to socialize with these soul-less, unconscionable maggots. We don't even get paid for one holiday. How do I get out of this??

Health Insurance is expensive and you get no discounts even though you work for a hospital.

Overall the benefits package is good. Different options available. The insurance is expensive for part time employees.

With census low during the summer months, you'll get 'pushed back' to an 11 am start time or canceled for the day and will be charged against your vacation time to make up hours. Health benefits are $75-$125 every 2 weeks and the copays and deductibles are very expensive. Specialists office visits within the network are expensive too.
