The company has a 403b which seems good. As for the benefits, they start immediately after your orientation class if you are a manager level and above. They have education reimbursement available especially for nursing.

Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage, although a tad spendy for entire family coverage. You are required to join and fully participate in Wellness plan to ensure lowest rates.. Awesome 401K and employer matching retirement plan.

4 weeks off your first year. However, PDO time is all inclusive so it equates to about 1 week personal time.

Health insurance is a bit expensive but the plan structure is great. Excellent dental plan. PDO policy does not include needs work.

You work for a healthcare company and hospitals but they have the worst healthcare benefits for their employees. There are no paid holidays, it all comes out of your PDO bank but if you have no PDO you are still required for to take that time off. There are never any bonuses or incentives or credit for overtime worked. Maternity leave is only 6 weeks!!!

Paid time off for the amount of work you do is the worst here and its all based on negotiation at time of hire. I get four weeks, however, new hires are getting 5. I think if they are giving the new hires 5 weeks, then they should give that to everyone. Their other policy is even if you worked the weekend before and/or after the holiday, but took the holiday off and had 40+ hours in, you still have to use that day as a PDO. No place I have ever worked does that especially when your making them money! I guess if it is worth it to them to take one day of PDO, then people should really only work 32 hours the week of a holiday, instead of the usual 40 +. And the medical insurance is high.
