Meets CA required standards, no more. Most managers support it, but my manager specifically wrote me down on my performance review because I was out too much. He verbalized it was specifically because I was out so much for leave....even though I provided him a schedule prior to taking leave and I spread it over the entire year 1-week at a time specifically to reduce the impact on the company.
HR is very helpful in navigating maternity and paternity leave. On top of leave, Paid Family Leave and Family Care Leave allow plenty of time for families. No stigma with time off to take care of family. Family oriented company.
