We received paid holidays off
You must negotiate this up front. They will not provide them or even talk about them if you do not ask.
Less than five total but you must remind then and make sure they agree to them up front.
The only paid holidays are if you actually work on the holiday and very few days are recognized. If the site you are contracted two takes an extended vacation, like a week between Christmas and New Years, none of that is paid.

Paid holidays gives me time to spend with my 3 sons and granddaughter. We love Christmas and my son who is a chef is a great cook and I make a mean Baileys Irish Cream. Birthdays are also very important. Also, Thanksgiving is important in order to thank God for all that I and my family have been blessed with.

Vacation time was accrued depending on hours worked. During initial employment conversations, total days of vacation / paid holidays were incorrectly described to what the contract offered. Paid holidays were a set 7 holidays per year. This did not necessarily sync up with the company I was contracted to work for - so if the office was closed and I was not allowed to work from home, I was forced to use a vacation day.
