Good health insurance; 401k starts at an "average" match but increases with tenure.

401k with company match is very good

Benefits used to be a strong point for Air Liquide. Over the past 5 years, they've become more costly, especially for employees with children If you're part of the newly formed airgas division, your benefits will be terrible

The cost of benefits has dramatically shifted towards the employee. The "cost" of medical insurance almost tripled but the coverage is horrible. super high deductibles for everything. The annual performance increases are low and based on COL it becomes a negative year over year. The recent purchase of Airgas has made the problem even worse. Getting moved from the AL side to Airgas took $18K out of our take home pay essentially. A lot of the benefits listed are offered but at a non-competitive price. They price their "benefits" so high to drive you away from using them.

Benefits are high. While allowed a beginning 3 weeks vacation if an experience hire, it should be upped to 4 weeks for very experienced hires.

Its outsourced so there is no one at the branch to assist you with issues. Very difficult when you are dealing with health issues and need a 3rd party.

Air Liquide's Maternity policy needs significant improvement if they want to retain women. Currently maternity leave is not paid and new mothers are expected to return full time after the FMLA 12 weeks is up. Short term disability is offered but only pays for a very small portion of the employee's salary depending on how long the employee has been with the company. The benefits force new mothers to have to choose between continuing to earn an income to support their families and bonding with their new baby.

Excellent 401K years of service enhanced employer matching, very good compensation for managers + bonuses, tuition reimbursement, annual health assessment bonus. Overall excellent benefits.

Star Star Star Star Star Former Intern - Hourly in Houston, Texas

Hard to say, I didn't really receive any benefits besides relocation as an intern. They paid $700 at the start of the summer and at the end of the summer for those who are over 500 miles away or they'll pay for your flight.

Best is that they're flexible. Worst is that the costs are going up and anyone transferring to Airgas takes a negative financial hit for health benefits and 401K contributions
