During the pandemic, Akamai's leadership went out of their way to care for their staff. This included Wellness Days where the vast majority of the company had the same day off which ensured we would not come back to a full inbox. It was really liberating to have multiple additional time off to recharge during a very stressful time. Kudos to Akamai's leadership for caring about their employees when times were hard.
Unlimited PTO (ethically, shouldn't be more than 20-25 business days they say). Works life balance is amazing.
