Sick and health insurance
Not many benefits overall & expensive insurance
Best thing is that it's affordable. Worst thing is it's not a lot of stuff everywhere, since it's Florida based insurance
Paid holidays and vacation time!
Good overall package. Best feature is several options for health insurance as well as other benefits, ranged from more expensive to less. Also offered usual compliment of elective coverages. All with good carriers. Company vetted out benefits providers (insurance companies) well.
Promised benefits for months and never provided any after moving up in management.
It's very easy to get time off. The individual stores have small teams so you work closely with the manager who is the one who grants the time off. The store managers are also pretty good about allowing stylists to switch shifts.
They cover a lot of things but only by half. I had a baby and then had my gall bladder removed and I had over 8k in medical bills, then I had some dental work and that ended up costing over 3k...not the best!
There are none as a stylist. I'm not positive what there are if any at higher level but stylists are kept as *part time* because you never get full time hours often enough to change your status
Ok insurance, 401 K, time off
