Great benefits overall. Generous pension plan.
Salary, 401k, retirement benefits excellent
The benefits are amazing to be honest other than that the place is complete and utter trash. Very Unprofessional. And no im not some bitter ex employee i have sense found way better employment im just telling the harsh truth
Pro: You start out with 25 vacation days. Con: Your holidays come out of the same bank as your PTO.
Great benefits overall--especially medical and dental coverage
Best thing - the ability to purchase more time off so you wouldn't have to spend another minute in that place!
The best was the health plan option
Best thing: we can buy up to an extra 10 days PTO Worst: HR apparently believes that employees like and appreciate non-monetary benefits (i.e. "lunch and learn," holiday party)
I hate the fact that all PTO is lumped into one bucket i.e vacation, holidays and sick time and the accrual rate is abysmal.
PTO is on the low end of the standard in the non-profit sector as vacation days, sick days and holidays are all rolled into the same bank. Flexible work hours and the option to work from home is encouraged more in some departments than others depending on function and manager. No 401K match, but there is a retirement plan provided. A more robust benefits package might be the deciding factor for potential new hires to work at NHP if they look at the overall comp package presented.
