Allied Universal does offer a 401(k) plan. It’s managed by Mass Mutual and available for both full-time & part-time employees. If you were enrolled before Allied Barton and Universal Protection merged (Winter of 2016), they do match. If enrolled AFTER the merge, they do not match. For those who receive a match: 0-9 years of service, they match up to 12% of your gross pay. Match happens year-to-year and is contingent on .. being employed up until December 31 of that year. The money matched (vesting) comes in a lump-sum the following year sometime around spring. They also offer a ROTH IRA

Allied Universal in fact does offer a 401(k) plan for their security officers. It’s managed by Mass Mutual and available for both full-time and part-time employees. It’s my understanding that if you were enrolled before Allied Barton and Universal Protection merged (winter of 2016), they do match. If you enrolled after the company merge, they do not match. For those who receive a match: 0-9 years of service, they match 20% (up to 12% of your gross annual pay). 9-19 years of service, they match 25% (up to 12% of gross annual pay) as well. It’s just okay. The company doesn’t contribute that much and you must be there for a year before they kick in anything.
