The best things is to always have a job training
Difficult to schedule training with fast pace
You put your life on the line and get aggravation in return. QUID PRO NO!
Mostly rushed because they need you as a body to stand a shift, instead of a highly qualified individual. They care more about using you to meet a quota, then they do investing in your training.
Training is only a week or two if you are lucky.
If you are just starting out in your career, there are a lot of opportunities to learn new skills and get exposure to different work environments.
They throw you on the job with out training you and expect you to know the job
This person that does the training has the knowledge of the place where I worked at. As far as his example, he would continue to tell me what he would do even though it was against the customers policy. Was not very consistent and talked more with the customer employees then he did the trainee
could use better in office training for new hire
Very brief on the job training, usually consisting of a 2-4 hour period of doing patrols with someone who is familiar with the area.
