Having a deductible on my health insurance plan was new to me but it was reasonable for employee only benefits. Health plan: 100% coverage for preventative care (Yay!). Dental, low deductible and cleaning 2x a year. I am a big advocate if you never did it before be sure to get a FSA account for the amount that your health insurance does not pay until you meet your deductible. After 3 years you are full vested in 401K and pension, yes Allstate still offers a pension (not sure how much longer this will be available).

The best thing about the Allstate benefit package is they provide a pension plan. Not many companies provide a pension plan now days, and that was very attractive to me. They also provide a great prescription plan and eye care plan. The medical benefits are a little expensive, and they are going up on the medical in 2016.
