the people are cool to work with. The worse thing about it for me was the commute. I live in the city and eventually got to me so I decided to leave
Nice 401k match and lots of PTO
The health benefits were free for a single person, and they also had a plan with a lower deductible which you would pay a small premium.
The benefits were very impressive, I have never had more PTO than while I was working at Allstate. I really liked the company matching donations to nonprofits.
Benefits continue to get worse. In 2019 Allstate is cutting HSA contributions, no longer subsidizing dental insurance, cutting life insurance, and increasing medical insurance cost 25%. They are masking these cuts behind a choice dollars program that benefits the company and hurts the employee.
The best thing was the vacation package. 3 weeks of PTO and the option to buy an additional week of PTO.
Health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, flex work hours
Vacation paid time off and flexible schedule
Work life balance is great. Pension is as well. Next year they dropped life insurance, AD&D and dental. They are also moving jobs to Irving TX, Charlotte NC, Arizona.
No benifits at all and wont get any anytime soon. If you have a family probably not the best route to go down
