“There are several options for the health insurance plan. There is a low out of pocket or high out of pocket option. Both options are very reasonable and co-pays are reasonable.”
“The best thing about the 401k plan at Altec is that the company will match up to six percent of your contributions. Additionally the company will also allow you to adjust the amount of your bonus that you would like to have contributed to your 401K plan”
Decent level of benefits, could be better, considering the industry they are in
Pretty standard 'old-school' benefits package. Typical 401k with low percent match (vests immediately though), health insurance, dental insurance, etc. I'm office staff on the more tech side of things and wish the PTO situation was better. We start at 10 days PTO and don't get another five until year six. Concessions for flexible working work hours are scarce to none. Pretty much a standard 8-4 no matter what. And while COVID of course forced work-from-home for awhile, that was immediately ended as soon as the situation improved and WFH is currently not allowed again.
They offer great, affordable health coverage.
2 weeks vacation, paid short term and long term disability, 401k match, options for family insurance, critical care coverage,
Great 401k match. Incredible insurance
The Health Insurance benefits have low deductibles and are affordable. TheIt 401k contribution is great! Many additional health, education, etc, perks.
I think the benefits package is pretty standard based on what I know from other companies. We do get more paid holidays than many other companies.
No perks for interns. Time off is flexible
It's great. Sometime you gotta work overtime.
I was a co-op so many of the benefits don't apply on me, but as far as I know, Altec values family a lot and the amount of paid vacations also seem reasonable to me.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
